01 / About the standard

What this publication establishes.

ISO 30415 provides guidance for building diversity and inclusion into organizational governance, leadership, workforce practice, and stakeholder relationships. It asks organizations to consider responsibilities, actions, measures, and outcomes in their own context.

The guidance can be applied by organizations of different sizes and sectors. WSMI uses DISM to turn relevant inclusion commitments into owned services, documented controls, evidence, measures, and improvement decisions.

DISM names the InclusionScore / WSMI certification framework; ISO 30415:2021 names the ISO publication.

Scope and boundary

ISO 30415 is guidance, not a requirements-based management-system certification standard. DISM is a separate proprietary certification framework, and DIP is its professional designation; neither is an ISO-issued certificate.

Certification authority

Standards set the reference. InclusionScore delivers the pathway.

ISO develops and publishes international standards. ISO does not certify individuals or organizations. InclusionScore provides professional certification, organizational assessment, and certification services based on international HR and DEI standards.

Why apply guidance?

Turn inclusion principles into organizational practice.

Organizations apply guidance such as ISO 30415 to strengthen governance, invite meaningful workforce participation, and make inclusion practices measurable. A defined approach helps teams identify and manage people-related risks, review outcomes, and improve organizational performance over time.

DISM translates that guidance into an assessment and improvement pathway. It does not turn ISO 30415 into a requirements-based ISO certification standard.

The WSMI architecture

Separate standards. Connected practice.

ISO 30415 provides inclusion governance that can guide the application of ISO 30201 to human work. InclusionScore operationalizes these disciplines by treating consequential organizational interactions as measurable services.

This integration is WSMI service-management methodology. Neither ISO standard formally requires the other.

Professional pathways remain distinct: DISM leads toward the DIP designation; HRSM leads toward the HR-MSP designation. Each designation remains subject to its own approved certification requirements.
